A standout showcase at Tesla, Manhattan included the works of artist Blake Emory last week. As a part of Art in Motion Week NYC, the exploration in Optic Modernism celebrated movement in two-dimensional artwork from the Zebra Love Collection. The show also brought the artist’s creation to life with a performance of painted dancers set to the beat of Emory’s drum.

Over 400 exhibiting artists displayed their works at ArtExpo New York this past weekend at Pier 94 in Manhattan. Among the exhibitors was Blake Emory’s exploration in Optic Modernism, the Zebra Love Collection. Displayed works included original pieces from the 2014 and 2015 series and also some Limited Edition Giclée prints. The eye-catching display was located beside Lounge 94, sponsored by Emory Vodka; an Ultra-Premium vodka which displays the Zebra Love Collection piece Shauna 1 on the bottle.
The Amsterdam Whitney Gallery hosted a special Gala Champagne Reception last night to celebrate the opening of the “Masquerade Magique” Exhibition. Pieces from the 2014 and 2015 Zebra Love Collection will be featured as a part of the exhibit in New York until April 28. View photos below of the opening reception.

Blake Emory will be exhibiting the Zebra Love Collection at Art San Diego November 6 to 9. The event returns to Balboa Park for it’s 6th edition, presenting contemporary fine art from over 50 exhibitors and a variety of innovative artists, dealers, and publishers. Blake will be displaying pieces from the Summer 2014 Collection, including the iconic “Flove” and “Josephine”. In addition to the exhibits, the fair will also showcase talks, tours, and interactive demonstrations.

Garrett’s Chair, a Blake Emory original painting will be auctioned at the 16th annual YMCA Gala to benefit families in the North Shore area. Each year the YMCA Gala benefits local children and families in need, providing financial assistance to more than 12,000 deserving families. The money raised through auction will directly impact the North Shore communities.
This original painting is truly unique, as there will be no reproduction prints made. The dimensions of this piece are 42″ high x 30″ wide.
